About Me

I am an independent digital strategy consultant who specializes in helping media, sports, and dot-com companies figure out how best to grow their digital business. From developing new online products, to deciphering the latest needs of online users, to analysing the market for untapped opportunities, I have been providing executives at North America’s top companies with digital strategy assistance since 2004.

Prior to founding my consulting business, I was Director of Brand Marketing
at Chatelaine and Chatelaine.com, where I oversaw all marketing and business development activities for Canada’s leading women’s magazine and
companion website.

Previously, as Vice President of Product Development at Harlequin Enterprises, I helped to create and launch eHarlequin.com, while managing the site’s e-commerce, community, customer service and product development programs.

Before moving to Canada, I worked on the "creative" side of the New York media world, serving as Managing Editor for Spy, Psychology Today and Mother Earth News magazines during the mid-1990s. I also worked as an internal consultant to the McGraw Hill Companies.

Committed to community- and college-level sports, I have coached youth soccer, acted as a programming advisor for my local community center, and served as a Director on the Boards of local and university sports associations.

I earned an MBA from the Harvard Graduate School of Business, an MA in Science and Environmental Reporting from New York University, and a BA in Communications from Cornell University.
